Dementia Friendly Family Activities
We look forward to offering afternoons and evenings where you and your loved one with dementia can come and enjoy community activities together. These activities will be awesome volunteer opportunities for people in the community (young and old) who wish to support families on this dementia journey.
Dementia Friendly Worship
We gather together to sing His praises on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 3pm. Refreshments provided. Singing, praying, discussing faith in a safe environment. Your loved one with dementia can share the experience with you on whatever level they are able. See our calendar for dates.
Dementia Friendly Family Paint Parties
Our first Family Paint Party will take place on Thursday, October 24, 3-5pm.
We will create a cute Halloween project. Please join us with your loved one with dementia. Complete your registration here. Art supplies will be provided, a donation of $10 per person would be gladly accepted, but is not required.
Dementia Friendly Family Game Nights
Coming soon...an evening to enjoy table games and refreshments with your loved one with dementia and others who understand. Our games are cooperative and fun...just like we practice every day in our adult day program. Enjoy playing as a family again!
Dementia Friendly Family Parties w/live music
Enjoy dancing with your sweetheart, sharing good food and good company. Upcoming parties include a Christmas party in early December and a Valentines Day Dance in February. See our calendar for specifics.
